Joshua Pichardo · Founder & President
Building community. Growing women’s soccer.
Joshua Pichardo is a coach, soccer director, and community organizer with a clear purpose: helping girls and women find their place in soccer and the confidence to lead beyond it.
His work spans neighborhood soccer, girls’ player development, and pre-professional women’s soccer. From building girls’ programs and launching a women’s team to creating community events and partnerships, Joshua brings people together around a shared belief: opportunity grows when a community invests in its players.
He founded HER League to put that belief into action. It is a welcoming first step into the game—a place where girls can find a team, build friendships, and feel that they belong. His vision reaches beyond the scoreboard: stronger communities, more opportunities for girls, and a future where women’s soccer keeps growing from the ground up.

PAMELA.
Pamela Saldivar
Player Development & Performance Coach
A West Lawn native, Pamela played four years of collegiate soccer at Concordia University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in strength and conditioning at Saint Xavier University.
Pamela brings a college player’s perspective and a foundation in exercise science to developing the whole athlete. At HER League, her focus is helping girls sharpen their soccer skills, improve strength and coordination, and build the confidence to compete and keep growing. As a coach from West Lawn, she offers girls a relatable role model and a clear example of how far the game can take them.

What am I registering for?
All player registration is for the upcoming HER League winter season at Quest Gym. Girls register individually and are placed on teams. You do not need to bring a team.
When does winter start, and what does it cost?
Season dates, days, times, and pricing have not yet been announced. We will update these details once confirmed. Registration does not confirm a particular schedule or price.
Where is Quest Gym?
Quest Gym is at 2641 W Harrison St, Chicago, IL 60612. Entrance and arrival instructions are still being confirmed.
Does my daughter need soccer experience?
No. First-time players and girls who already play are welcome. HER League is an all-girls recreational league centered on games, participation, and belonging, with no standings or playoffs.
Which ages can register?
The registration form includes birth years 2021–2010. Girls are grouped by age and placed on teams. For eligibility questions, contact HER League before registering.
What should she bring?
Plan for comfortable athletic clothing, shin guards, and water. Venue-specific footwear and equipment instructions will be included with the final winter details.
How will families receive updates or cancellations?
Registration asks for parent contact information and a preferred language. The winter communication and cancellation process is still to be confirmed. For questions now, message @herleaguechicago on Instagram.
Is HER League part of Chicago City SC?
HER League is independently founded and led. Chicago City SC is its exclusive competitive club partner. Players can explore Mini City, Rec City, or Travel opportunities; competitive soccer is not required to enjoy HER League.
Can she participate if she plays for another club?
Yes! HER League welcomes all girls, including those who play for another club. Everyone is welcome.
